Full-time and part-time work arrangements will be considered. All roles are on-site teaching roles located in Truganina, VIC. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing quality education and instruction to students, as well as lesson planning, curriculum development, and student assessment. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to promote student learning and engagement, maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and participating in extracurricular activities as required.

• Tertiary degree in Education or a relevant field
• A valid teaching certification from the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• Demonstrated ability to teach students in a variety of formats
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
• Passionate about education and student success
• Willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
• Cultural competence and the ability to work with diverse student populations and backgrounds

1. Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs.
2. Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth. 
3. Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning. Demonstrated experience in using data to inform teaching practice and providing feedback on student learning growth and achievement to students and parents.
4. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community to support student learning, agency, wellbeing and engagement.
5. Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values. Demonstrated experience in reflecting upon practice and engaging in professional learning to continually improve the quality of teaching.
