Vegetation Field Worker

We have a number of positions available throughout Victoria and are looking for applicants who have previous vegetation control experience. All positions are permanent fulltime and will require occasional living away work. Our positions include Machine/Plant Operators, Inspectors/Scopers, EWP Operators, Climbers and Groundline Cutters. 

You will work in a crew of 2 people and will perform vegetation management duties around powerlines. Your tasks will range from:

• Observing
• EWP Operation or Climbing
• Cutting
• Chipping
• Machine Operation
• Traffic Control
• Scoping/Inspecting/Auditing
• Customer relationship management
• Implementing safe work practices
• Upkeep and maintenance of vehicles, tools and equipment

• OHS Construction Card (White Card)
• MR Drivers Licence or higher
• A strong work ethic with a focus on quality and safety
• EWP Operators will require a High-Risk EWP Licence
• Machine/Plant Operators will require qualifications in any of the following:
• Excavator
• Skid Steer or Tractor Slasher
• Positrack or Mulcher
• Jarraff or Skyrim
• Certificate II in ESI with Groundline or EWP units desirable
• ESI Refresher completed in the last 6 months desirable
