About the role
Due to continued success and ongoing growth, we are looking for several full-time fitters to join our team. Applicants looking for casual or part time roles will also be considered. Applicants with limited experience, but a strong passion for the industry are equally encouraged to apply.
Your job will include:
- Installing towbars, bull bars, driving lights, electric brake controllers, roof racks, winches etc
- Safe use of hand, air and electric power tools
- Safety leadership & the ability to identify and implement safe work practices
- Reading and understanding fitting instructions
- Facilitating the movement of customer vehicles on and off premises
- Professional and timely fitments
Skills and experience
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated basic mechanical and or auto electrical knowledge from prior automotive or associated industry / interest / hobby background.
- Excellent attention to detail and care for correct handling of products and vehicles.
- A valid manual Driver’s licence.
Desirable Requirements:
- Possession of a Motor Vehicles Repairer’s Certificate with MAF and EAF classes.
- Trade qualifications in a related automotive trade (mechanic, panel beater, auto electrical).
