Vehicle Mechanic – Steelbro Lytton Qld

STEELBRO has vacancy for a Mobile Plant Mechanic at its Lytton service facility. The position is full time and based in Lytton QLD.  

Successful applicants will have: 

• Have good knowledge of general mechanics, i.e side loaders, fork-truck or/or reach stackers, heavy vehicles and/or automotive plant
• Good sense and ability in fault finding and solutions generation and implementation, 
• Able to follow correct procedures & processes, 
• Good working knowledge of OS&H and Environmental practices

Skills, Qualifications and Experience: 

• Trades certificate in mechanical or similar would be an advantage, 
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanics, fault finding and repair solution generation and implementation.

Its likely the Successful Candidate will have:  

• Strong communication and time management skills
• Be organised and self-motivated

Remuneration/Salary

$50-60 per hour. 

Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. to be discussed with the successful applicant.
