Full-time permanent – Dayshift Monday – Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
Salary range $70000 (guaranteed overtime) per annum + Superannuation
About the Role
Key Result Areas:
Works under the direct supervision of the designated senior staff member.
Promotes a continuous quality improvement approach to all aspects of the job.
Tasks:
Prepare surfaces of vehicles.
Removing rough spots on vehicle panels.
Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders.
Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper.
Colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint.
Applying primer and finishing coats using spray guns, and sanding surfaces between coats.
Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles.
Removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork.
Painting signs and artwork on vehicles.
Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
Ability to work as a positive and productive team member.
Willingness to work within the philosophy of VEHICLE HEROES PTY LTD.
3 years of relevant experience and/or qualification as a Vehicle Painter/Spray Painter.
Desirable skills:
Knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement principles.
Immediate availability is important.
