We are the pioneers of customer satisfaction and innovation standards and pride ourselves on providing our employees with safe, supportive, and rewarding working conditions.About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for experienced and qualified Vehicle Spray Painters & Panel Beaters to join either AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs team to undertake quality workmanship to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition. This is a full-time position located in all areas of Regional TAS.Vehicle Spray PaintersKey Responsibilities:-Colour mix and match vehicle after vehicle has been prepared and is scheduled for painting
-Build and maintain the colour library
-Prep, prime and paint the vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following the paint supplier's process
-Buff and Denib vehicle
-Handle all vehicles with due care and attention
-Notate any extra paint work required that is not quoted.
-Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager
-Clean work bay and workshop areas
-Coach apprentices when requiredAbout You:-Trade qualified Spray Painter
-Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter
-Strong commitment to work in a safe manner
-Excellent communication skills
-High attention to detail
-Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
-Ability to meet strict deadlines
-Be reliable, punctual & hardworking
-Own tools to fulfil the rolePanel BeatersKey Responsibilities:-Check received parts are correct and for defects.
-Disassemble the vehicle as per the Job Sheet.
-Repair the vehicle as per the Repair Method, OEM standards and in accordance with the Estimate and Job Sheet
-Reassemble vehicle.
-Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
-Handle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention ensuring they remain safe, clean and in a workable condition.
-Adhere to our OH&S policy including PPE.About You:-Trade qualified Panel Beater
-Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Panel Beater
-Strong commitment to work in a safe manner
-Excellent communication skills
-High attention to detail
-Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
-Ability to meet strict deadlines
-Be reliable, punctual & hardworking
