Vending Machine Filler/ Driver

Australian Capital Territory Vending is a Canberra based business that specialises in food and drink vending across ACT and surrounding regions.  We are a small and fast-growing dynamic team who pride ourselves on delivering first-class service to our customers. 

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual to join our team as a Vending Machine Filler.  This role requires you to drive one of our company vehicles over a set route and refill our drink and snack machines to pre-set levels.  You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service, keeping our machines to the highest standards of cleanliness and interacting with all clients in a friendly and professional manner.

Duties include:

• Completing your set delivery route in a timely and safe manner.
• Ensuring Vending Machines are well stocked, clean and working. 
• Updating machine information such as stock levels via our telemetry application. 
• Collecting cash from machines and bringing it back to the branch office to be counted and deposited.
• Loading your vehicle prior to commencing your route.
• Keeping the company vehicle properly stocked and clean at all times.
• Keep the vehicle fuelled above ¼ tank at all times, and obey all traffic laws.
• Identifying potential new sites for our machines or sites where competitor’s machines are already situated.
• Collecting stock from our suppliers as required.
• Occasionally assisting with picking and packing during peak periods. 

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a full manual license and clean driving record.
• Be able to work independently and within a team.
• Have attention to detail and take pride in your work. 
• Be self-motivated and have a drive to do your best at all times.
• Be reliable and trustworthy and have strong work ethic.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Have a positive attitude and friendly nature.

• Be available Monday-Friday, between 7am and 3pm

To be eligible you must:

• Hold a full Australian Manual driver licence.
• Have rights to work in Australia without restriction.
• Have or be willing to obtain a White Card
• Have or be willing to obtain a National Police Check

The following will also be considered favourably:

• Working with vulnerable People Card.
• MR Licence.
