We are looking for a full-time vet who is highly motivated and a team player to join our current 4 vet team. The team you would be joining consists of a group of exceptionally skilled and motivated nurses and receptionists who keep the clinic running like a well oiled machine. The veterinary team hold memberships in surgery, emergency medicine, CertAVP in cardiology and have the skills to provide our patients with diagnostics and treatments in-house.
We are a purpose-built hospital that was designed for staff and patient comfort with lots of space and natural light. We have equipment up the wasu, including high quality ultrasound, cardiac ultrasound, orthopaedic gear (performing TPLOs, fractures etc), dental radiology, in-house bloods, laparoscopic and arthroscopic gear.
No, we’re not in a country town, Wallan is only 40min from the middle of Melbourne in a busy commuter area.

Skills we’re looking for:
- 2+ years experience
- Keenness to work up cases based on gold standard recommendations.
- Ability to have a laugh, the vet industry is stressful, gotta lighten the load from time to time!
- Excellent communication and ability to explain processes, outcomes, and complications with clients.
