The KommunityTV team is looking for an agile and highly motivated Video Producer to join our growing business.
KommunityTV is one of the fastest growing digital projects in the News Corp Australia business, and we need a self-driven producer to help expand our program and platform as we move into the jam-packed winter sporting season.
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for video and for learning, while a basic understanding of the technical aspects of clipping, editing and publishing video is a must. While a passion for sport is not a must, a basic understanding of what makes a special sporting moment will assist in the role.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to cover a wide range of sporting events across multiple disciplines in what is a fast-paced work environment. There is also scope to work across multiple media platforms including in our content management system, on our website and with our social media team.

About the role:
- Work from the comfort of your own home on your own computer
Using our content management system to operate, monitor and clip from live video content
Pull out short clips of action and larger highlight packages to help promote our coverage across social media channels
Work closely with and communicate with external sports partners and production companies to troubleshoot any potential issues
Who are you?
- Has strong communication skills with an ability to liaise with both internal team members and external production partners
Can make a good judgement on what sport highlights will work on social media
Has a keen eye for detail on live videos
Basic video skills including cutting clips and file organisation. Basic graphics experience is a bonus.
Strong motivation, a collaborative work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines
Detail-oriented, able to stay calm under pressure and knows how to balance priorities
Must have access to own laptop to work from home regularly
