While based at home in Sydney, ZIMMERMANN present their ready-to-wear collections each season at New York Fashion Week. They maintain showrooms in Sydney, London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles. Working with the highly acclaimed designer and long-time collaborator, Don McQualter, ZIMMERMANN maintains a number of stand-alone stores across Australia, Europe.

Position Purpose

Zimmermann is excited to share a new role within our Claremont Boutique for a VIP Manager to join our supportive retail teams! Acting as a Zimmermann ambassador, the role is primarily sales orientated, and will involve creating lasting client relationships with both new and existing clients. To provide exceptional service levels to ensure that clients enjoy an elevated luxury shopping experience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a “hands-on” proactive approach and thrive working in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities 

  • To proactively build relationships with high value clients
  • To follow through on all new client leads, introducing the brand and engaging the client with the service and benefits to turn a prospect into a loyal client
  • To achieve Zimmermann expectation in all areas of Service, Product Knowledge and Store Presentation
  • To attend Product training's in order to become familiar with the product knowledge, benefits and features, VM and stock presentation expectations
  • To ensure all communication from other stores, Zimmermann Head Office and Management is responded to in a timely manner, or as required
  • To utilize CRM platform to organize appointments and any service communication with clients
  • To created detailed client profiles on CRM platform, logging communication and setting reminders to assist in client development
  • Communicate with client base and local network to propose event host for in-store shopping events
  • Coordinate with Retail and PR team event details in line with event expectations
  • Host Celebrity and Media dressing appointments in store when directed by PR team
  • To manage Top Spender and Client Spend to Date reports

About You

  • A proven ability to develop staff and achieve KPI results, impeccable attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
  • Demonstrates amazing client service skills 
  • To be able to identify clients shopping spend and trends season on season, feedback to buying team follow up with the relevant strategy
  • Capability to acquire and grow the Zimmermann client database through engaging and maintaining professional relationships ensuring full compliance with local legislation
  • A passionate brand ambassador who embodies the Zimmermann values
