The Opportunity
Medibank and Amplar Health are committed to improving care in Australia. Whilst our new virtual GP offering will start with our employees, we are also committed to improving primary care by improving access and linking important health journeys for the wider community.
As a key team member in this new venture, we are looking for a GP who is excited to provide high quality care to patients. You will also have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the shaping and ongoing optimisation of the service to provide an amazing patient and provider experience.
Naturally you will need to be comfortable providing this care virtually to our employees - initially during the hours of 4pm to 10pm Monday to Friday (AEST). Full time hours are also available.
The initial engagement is for 6 months - and could suit both contractors and employee arrangements.
About You
This role suits a qualified Medical Practitioner with full AHPRA registration and FRACGP. We' love you to bring an entrepreneurial approach and a strong collaborative and patient-centred mindset.
As a virtual GP you will need to be comfortable conducting clinical assessments virtually but also able to collaborate with your wider team through various digital tools and collaborative software such as MS Teams.
