Visual Communication & Design Teacher (Faculty Leader)

Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood. 

We are inviting applicants with a growth mindset and a passion for lifelong learning, who are inspired and motivated to work in a contemporary learning context, to apply for the position of Visual Communication and Design Teacher - Faculty Leader (Design and Technology) with a teaching allotment.  This is a full time replacement position on a fixed term contract commencing from Term 2, 2024 (6 May 2024) until 23 April 2025 located at our Secondary School in Burwood.  This is a 12 months maternity leave replacement position.

We are seeking applicants who are to share their love of learning, their knowledge and practice of contemporary pedagogies, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.   The successful candidate will need to teach VCE Visual Communication and Design. Experience teaching VCE with adobe creative suite is preferred.

Applicants must have the following; 

• current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, 

• a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.
