Job description

You will help shape and elevate the retail in-store experience. Taking the lead to execute and ensure a smooth follow-up of merchandising-related projects from initial brief to final execution in-store. You are in the driver’s seat leading & implementing new store projects through consultation and stakeholder management. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Manage and coordinate key store projects from design, technical drawings, across all stages of construction: bidding, quotations, key stakeholder approval, document submission, merchandising production, fit-out, post-opening defects report and rectifications.
  • Initiate project design briefs and communicate all project requirements and timelines to the APAC Store Design team for the preparation of the Store Design Pack and approval of construction drawings.
  • Complete retailer prestart documentation and liaise with contractors to ascertain manufacture and installation quotes. 
  • Order and track all project merchandising elements from APAC/Suppliers to fit out new openings.  
  • Preparation/adaptation of Brand planograms and permanent/temporary merchandising by retailer by door.
  • Develop and execute seasonal campaigns and new product launch Visual Merchandising planogram guidelines.
  • Manage the set-up and management of merchandising hotspots and podiums for product launches and customer events. 
  • Maintain a register of counter tester units by door, supported with in-store pictures and floor plans.
  • Plan and monitor the budget for Visual Merchandising material (collateral, local production)
  • Responsible for creating product codes, PO, CAPEX request, documentation and tracking orders on the Prom Grid.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a similar role within a luxury brand retail environment.

Highly organized and process driven individual.
Strong understanding of floor plans, technical counter design drawings and fit outs.

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful and possess initiative with impeccable attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and work flexibly.

Background in merchandising or interior design with knowledge of design software (Photoshop, Illustrator and/or AutoCAD) will be advantageous.
