Healthy ageing is all about good quality of life, and we know to deliver this for our residents requires a vibrant lifestyle program.Volunteers have many skills and life experiences that can help our residents to engage in the lifestyle program, with activities that suit their interests and boost their health and well-being.Staff and volunteers work together to shape a lifestyle program that offers the best for our residents.Depending on the Residential Care home and demand from residents, Leisure and Lifestyle volunteers may be able to assist with:

• Crafting groups
• Social groups
• Gardening groups
• Walking groups
• Special activities, including using wheelchairs to assist residents
• Companionship such as chats over coffee, garden walks and reminiscing over photo albums
• Entertainment and concerts
• Pet therapy
• Beauty and nail therapy

Let us know if you have any skills or experiences that you think would benefit our residents.Time commitmentWe work with all volunteers to set up the most suitable days and times for you. • A current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care, or be willing to obtain one
• Evidence you have received the current Influenza Vaccination
• Evidence you have received three vaccinations against COVID-19
