Volunteer PLT Student (Paralegal/Legal Trainee)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PLT student to join our team as a volunteer Paralegal/Legal Trainee. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to gain practical legal experience and develop essential skills under the guidance of our highly experienced team of solicitors.

Your role will be based within our City office where you will have the responsibility of assisting our Principal Solicitor by conducting legal research, preparing/drafting legal correspondence, attending court proceedings and providing administrative support to our legal team throughout multiple offices.

The right candidate will possess:

• A keen interest in criminal law;
• Proficiency in legal research and writing;
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
• The ability to work both independently and as a team 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior legal experience or internships (preferred but not required) 

This is a great opportunity for an individual who is currently enrolled in a Practical Legal Training course, and is looking for an opportunity to gain experience in a highly regarded criminal law firm.
