About the role
Reporting to the Coordinator ? Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS), the purpose of this position is to lead all elements of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme. This scheme supports volunteer visits to provide friendship and companionship for older people.
Knowledge and skills required
- Previous experience working in the community, not-for-profit or Aged Care sector.
- Demonstrable understanding of working with a diverse client group including people who are ageing, people living with a mental illness, and living with disability, and their carer?s/families.
- Excellent relationship building, networking and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current class C Drivers Licence.
- National NDIS Worker Screening Check or current Yellow Card
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
