Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies that drive a unified "One CMC" culture and promote premium engineered products and solution sales within defined Strategic Growth markets.
  • Lead and support the communication and execution of key corporate initiatives as needed
  • Actively evaluate and plan for future Strategic Growth opportunities.
  • Build a new team in Australia to support and drive incremental growth and margin throughout Australia and New Zealand
  • Develop a roadmap for training and partnering with Tensar distributor team in launching Tensar products in ANZ.
  • Lead change management processes to gain full buy-in internally and externally.
  • Mentor and train a competent local Tensar commercial team to support new product adoption and drive organic demand.
  • Foster a successful transition to Tensar's new product offerings and other value-add products and solutions.
  • Explore expanding product offerings and potential distribution partnerships and develop plans for execution of these strategic initiatives
  • Implement pricing, incentives, and programs to drive desired behaviours within the Tensar team and with distributors.
  • Manage expectations and communications among geographically dispersed stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Serve as a sponsor and Program Manager, maintaining project scope, budget, and schedule using key resources from Tensar's Eastern and Western Hemisphere business units.


Required Skill Set

  • Proven ability to lead and execute high-profile global strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in cross-functional initiatives, change management, program management, team building, product/technology development, stakeholder engagement, coaching, and creative problem-solving.
  • Success in coordinating cross-functional teams involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor and coach team and peers in defining and executing successful initiatives.
  • Proven success leading sales team within the geotechnical sector - including recruiting, hiring, and training Regional Sales Manager and Area Director level positions.
  • Experience calling on and driving acceptance of geotechnical solutions across a broad range of customers (contractors, engineers, agencies, owners) at various organizational levels.


Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • 5+ years of consulting engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of consultative selling of value-add solutions within the civil construction industry.
  • 5-10 years of leading a technical sales organization within the construction products industry (distribution management experience required).
  • 5+ years of proven success leading high-profile, global strategic initiatives.
  • Successful experience influencing specifications and approvals of proprietary construction products at large, public agencies.
  • Demonstrable ability to confidently communicate clearly and effectively to executive leadership through briefs, presentations, and project status updates.
