The Opportunity
In this 12-month contract, you'll have the opportunity to significantly enhance the security of critical systems for a federal government agency dedicated to cyber security. In collaboration with colleagues, you play a vital role in shaping national security strategies.
The Role
- Conduct software vulnerability analysis, focusing on remote vulnerabilities
- Develop tools for detecting and verifying software vulnerabilities
- Prioritise and manage identified vulnerabilities for prompt resolution
- Analyse open-source reports for timely vulnerability information
- Collaborate with teams to implement proactive mitigation strategies
You possess knowledge and skills in software vulnerability research, detection, verification, or management, specifically in using and analysing software vulnerabilities, building software tools for detection, managing vulnerabilities effectively, and analysing open-source reports.
With a NV1 or above, you have at least 2 years’ experience as a Vulnerability Analyst.
Salary / Rate
$130 – $150 per hour including superannuation
