SalaryHicks Transport Group are seeking motivated and reliable HC & MC drivers to join our team for both intra and interstate trips. Predominately servicing Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane (transitting via Cobram and Shepparton).
Safety is a priority when working for Hicks Transport Group and it is expected you are able to follow all work safety and load restraint requirements, delivering freight in a timely and safe manner.
A high level of customer service and satisfaction will also be of high importance to you.
Hicks Transport Group require applicants to have a minimum of 12 months experience in driving trucks and general freight loading and movement.
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE SKILL & EXPERIENCE to in a safe and efficienct manner:
- Drive and operate a truck
- Deliver and pick up freight
- Load and unload freight on and off your truck
- Be aware of and comply with COR and load restraint guidelines and all health and safety guidelines
- Complete paperwork; national driver work diary daily sheets, driver’s daily worksheet as well as any other necessary paperwork to carry out your role.
- Carry out pre trip inspection for maintenance or safety issues prior to each trip.
- To keep vehicles clean and free of hazards
- Ability to follow instructions
Candidates will have a willingness to work in a strong team and ability to use initiative to action process improvements.
Summary of role requirements:

- 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role
- Work visa can be provided for this role
- Expected salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
