Position Summary
Provide ward administrative services to the new Rehab at Home program
Contribute and collaborate with the Rehab At Home team to support innovative service delivery of subacute care to patients in their homes

About the facility
Rehab at Home, based at the McKellar Centre, provides Rehabilitation to people living in their own home and is part of the state-wide Better@Home initiative.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the new Rehab at Home team. The successful applicant will be an experienced Ward Administrator with a passion for rehabilitation and working in an interdisciplinary team model.
About the role
As the Ward Administrator - Rehab at Home, you will:
Provide admin support to team members and patients in the Rehab at Home program
Work in collaboration with the Program Coordinator and all other stakeholders to monitor, develop and improve ward administration services service provision consistent with the objectives of the Barwon Health and the CHRPC Strategic plans

Desirable: Certificate of Health Administration or Business Administration (Medical) or equivalent
Essential: Previous employment in an administrative/clerical role
Essential: Computer literacy and the ability to learn specialist programs used at Barwon Health
Essential: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable: Previous experience using the Barwon Health’s computer programs
Desirable: Previous ward clerk experience
Desirable: Familiarity with medical terminology
Desirable: Telephony experience in consumer centred environment
