Westan distributes products on the cutting edge of audio-visual technology including digital signage, digital menu boards, LED walls, videowalls, large format and high brightness projection, commercial televisions for hotel, hospital and aged care along with audio-visual products for consumers from high desirable brands including Epson, Samsung, Philips, Polk Audio, Denon and Marantz.
Westan has a specialised sales team across Australia and New Zealand. Our head office in Melbourne is complemented by warehouses in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland, giving us one of the best geographical reaches in our industry.

Established in 1989, Westan started as an information technology distribution company specialising in computer peripherals. In the last decade Westan has pivoted its portfolio and supply to all facets of the AV Industry, not just in Australia but also New Zealand and Asia- Pacific.
About the role:
Duties include but are not limited to -
- Assisting warehouse team to process daily dispatch and intake
- Liaising with couriers, freight forwarders, internal staff and customers
- Receiving inventory from regular container arrivals – both physical handling and administrative processing
- Repacking, restocking and accompanying administration
- Assisting with regular stock takes and stock reports
- Supporting the sales team and branch managers on sales and projects
- Maintaining a clean and tidy, safe and fully-supplied warehouse space
Skills and experience:
The successful applicant must have -
- Some experience in warehouse operation, including receipt, dispatch, picking and packing.
- Forklift operation experience with certification favourable
- A full and current car licence
- Good computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure and multitask, with meticulous attention to detail.
