AddressPrime River are a proud Australian owned and operated boxed meat wholesaler and is seeking for positive and proactive WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER to join our team. Reporting to the Operations and Warehouse Manager, Monday through Friday, 6:30am-3:30pm. This position plays a key role in our future success.
If successful post the probationary period, there is an opportunity to progress into sales and taking on a hybrid role with the company
• Previous warehouse experience with a focus on receivables and dispatching
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A Driver licence and forklift licence
• A Physical capacity to lift up to ~20kg
• Commitment to safety and building strong working relationships
• Experience in the meat industry
• Drive and a willingness to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Above all, passion to be the best and continually raise the standard!
All warehouse duties including and not limited to:
• Stacking, maneuvering, and picking products in chiller and freezer with a forklift.
• Overseeing receivables, storing, staging and loading of all stock in and out
• Accurately picking & packing stock
• Processing credits and data entry
• Demonstrating safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment.
• Liaising with transport companies
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• A valid High Risk Forklift LF license
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office and MYOB
• Certifications in Warehousing or Logistics (Advantageous)
• Excellent organization & time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Great attitude and reliable
