The Role
With our two warehouses located in Acacia Ridge, your role will include but not be limited to the control stock within the warehouses and to ensure goods are received, picked and dispatched efficiently and effectively. A fast-paced environment, you will be working within a highly-organised team that will provide full training .Strong fork lift skills are an definite advantage. The ability to work unsupervised with a team ethos that drives reliability is sort.
A medium level of manual handling is also required.
Primary Objective
Order assembly distribution activities, undertaken from our Plasterboard or Architectural Warehouses located in Acacia Ridge
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and pack daily orders for customers
- Monitor stock levels and report stock shortages to line manager
- Monitor stock levels of packing material and report stock shortages to line manager
- Keep all work areas in a neat and tidy condition.
- Ensuring quality control when picking orders
- Provide assistance regarding delivery/carting, distribution and delivery where required
- Complete dispatch records as required.
Experience, skills and qualification.
- Forklift licence a must.
- A Min of 2+ years experience in a Warehousing environment ( an advantage).
- Own transport.
- Experience within a plasterboard warehouse.(desirable).
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
