The opportunity:We are looking for a Warehouse Attendant/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Workshop Manager and be responsible for preparing and processing products for delivery, as well as unloading incoming shipments according to quality work instructions. Your duties will also include moving inventory and materials within our facilities.
What you can expect:- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Data entry and maintaining inventory records
- Assist in performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits.
- Unload incoming deliveries per quality work instructions. Opening boxes, and other containers, using company approved hand tools, (i.e. company issued box cutters), This includes ensuring that stock is not damaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist in keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimising space utilisation.
- Assist in load / unloading of parts to 7 Kinetic Melbourne sites and as required for efficient running of the fleet operation.
- Use of Forklift to load / unload of inventory across facilities.
- Assist in dispatching and delivering of goods.
- Complete pick-ups and deliveries as directed.
- General warehouse duties.
- Previous experience within a similar position with a good knowledge of supply chain management and related fields.
- Hold a current Open Drivers Licence
- Hold a current Forklift Licence
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects.
- Ability to follow processes and procedure accurately.
- Base rate of $35 per hour + Superannuation.
