AddressOur client based in Moorabbin, is a one of the largest top-tier distributors of automotive products in the automotive industry.
They are currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Day Shift Warehouse Outbound Managerto lead their picking & packing and dispatch team. If you have a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and experience within the Warehouse/Logistics industry than this may the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the outbound warehouse team
- Prioritise and allocate orders
- Optimise resource allocation and manage daily workloads
- Implement productivity metrics and conduct performance reviews
- Handle back orders and customer service issues
- Liaise with transport providers for smooth dispatch and delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain high standards of occupational health and safety
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fulfillment times
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations
- Be involved with regular daily toolbox meetings, discussing and delegating all tasks for the day
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous Warehouse Outbound Manager- 2 years minimum
- Previous experience with Order Fulfillment allocation
- Victorian (or Australian equivalent) Driver's License
- In-depth experience with WMS & ERP systems - this is essential.
- LF Forklift License
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Knowledge of the 3PL Logistic industry
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities
- Personal organisation and time management skills
