AddressAPS Group have partnered with one of Australia's leading supermarkets to assist them in finding multiple Warehouse Staff for their new Automated Distribution Centre in Kemps Creek.
Reporting to the APS Onsite Team you will be responsible for completing operational tasks like:
- Loading - Prepare outgoing shipments, receive incoming goods by loading & unloading trucks
- Despatch
- Picking - Pick by light
Available Shifts:
- Day Shift - 05:00am - 1.30pm
- Afternoon Shift - 1.30pm - 9.30pm
- Monday to Saturday.
**First 2 weeks Training onsite will be worked on the PM Shift**
To succeed within this position flexibility is a must.
We are seeking applications from individuals who meet the following selection criteria:
- Must be reliable, physically fit and in good health,
- History of performing physically demanding work,
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time,
- Ability to carry out moderate to heavy lifting and reaching,
- Stable work history,
- Previous experience with Voice Picking highly desirable,
- Must be able to work up to 6 days a week and able to handle up to 10 hour shifts,
- Flexibility to work overtime and various shifts,
- Good communication skills,
- Attention to detail,
- Forklift experience is an advantage,
- Must PASS a mandatory Drug & Alcohol Screen and Pre-employment Medical,
- Have current Driver's license,
- Own reliable transport,
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Safe operation of Electric Pallet Jack,
- General warehouse duties,
- Picking Orders and stacking pallets,
- Voice picking,
- Demonstrating a sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety,
- Competent level of numeracy & literacy skills,
- Initiative to make a contribution to the business.
