We are seeking a Warehouse Store Person / Picker & Packer to join our busy Burleigh Heads warehouse. You will receive training in all areas of responsibility and always have support.
Key responsibilities include
- Pick, check, pack and dispatch customer orders - attention to detail, a very high level of accuracy, and the ability to work to set time targets are imperative
- Heavy lifting involved
- Cut lengths of tube and chain
- Receive inbound goods - checking product quality and quantity
- Manual unloading of shipping containers
- Assist supervisor in the management of bulk storage and bin storage locations
- Participate in stock take procedures
- Maintain a safe and tidy workplace at all times
- Carry out other general warehouse duties as instructed by supervisor
- Actively work to improve the warehouse environment
Applicants must possess
- Previous warehouse experience in a stores / picking and packing role
- Suitable level of physical fitness
- Excellent reading, written and oral communication skills
- Strong customer focus with demonstrated experience
- Capacity to handle fast paced and demanding environment
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- A positive and self-motivated attitude
- Must be a Queensland resident
