Alstom are seeking an experienced Warehouse Store person to be in charge of incoming and outgoing materials, with a diverse range of duties.
This role reports directly to the Logistics & Warehouse Manager and will be based in Bellevue. This is a 6 month fixed term contract with potential to go permanent and explore other opportunities in Alstom!
Key Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials.
- Picking and filling orders from stock.
- Kitting, Packing and shipping orders.
- Manage all impaired or damaged items.
- Operate adequate merchandise management tools, including forklift.
- Operate and maintain preventative warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Perform inventory cycle counts & audits.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in daily tasks.
Skills, Experience and Licences required include:
- Experience working in a Warehouse, ideally within a maintenance environment.
- Communicating effectively with external suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
- A valid Driver's Licence is essential, and a Forklift licence is desirable.
- Experience with SAP or similar material ERP systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously.
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
