Form of workOur growing, innovative and driven business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join our friendly team based in Southport. Our popular wholesale and retail business specializing in electric bikes and scooters has grown and evolved and is requiring an experienced warehouse operator.
Your role will include, but not be limited to, picking and packing orders, managing a parts inventory including receipting stock in and out, booking in freight, unpacking containers, cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse and facilities to support efficient space utilisation, assisting with stock takes and other general store duties.
You will be working as part of a team to achieve company objectives.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- At least 1 year pick packer/warehouse experience is a necessity
- A high level of accuracy and good attention to detail
- Possess a positive work attitude & hard work ethic
- An ability to time manage and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be motivated and reliable
- Sound computer skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Solid communication skills both oral and written
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive and professional attitude towards staff, management and customers
- Fork Lift License desirable
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick and pack orders in a prompt time frame with accuracy
- Quality check stock
- Stocktaking including inventory management
- Unpacking containers
- Manual handling of stock boxes including heavy lifting
- General warehouse duties
- Reporting to Management team
This is a full time permanent position working Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
