About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our busy and dynamic team in a full-time capacity as a Store person / Forklift Operator located in Wetherill Park NSW
Operating Hours - 06:30hrs – 15:00hrs Monday to Thursday and 06:30hrs – 12:30hrs Fridays
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated candidate with a great “Can Do" attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
Reporting to the Production Manager
Qualifications & Experience
- Outstanding warehousing skills and experience across all processes
- Have prior experience working in a busy warehouse environment (advantageous).
- Valid Forklift Operator’s license with proven experience
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting tasks safely (up to 25kgs)
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft word, excel)
- Understanding of WHS procedures
- Reliable and responsible
- Ability to multitask
- A genuine willingness to improve processes
- Efficiency in traffic flow regarding lean principles with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with oversize freight (desirable)
- Racking utilisation and the ability to assist in managing bin locations
- Labelling and maintaining all pallets and goods stored
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Maintain organised stock storage accurately, ensuring clarity in labeling and location
- Handle daily tasks of picking, packing, and shipping
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe storage in pallet racking using a forklift
- Staging and storing of parts to feed our assembly and fabrication departments according to our daily - weekly schedules
- Assist with Stocktakes
- General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
- Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.
- Checking delivery documentation matches goods received
- Maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse environment.
- Identify and report on non-conforming parts, training provided
- Forklift log books updated daily
- Forklift safety checks
