YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Operations Manager, are responsible for the daily co-ordination of the Warehouse functions including Receiving, Order processing, Dispatch, Stock management, Transport management, Safety compliance and order quality in line with our company policies and procedures. 

As a leader in our business, you will also be responsible for the motivation, engagement, performance and retention of your team. Given the small size of the team this will include leadership as well as hands on activities to help the team with the daily workload.

• Daily review of key warehouse reports and tasks.
• Stock receiving activities and accuracy.
• Order picking accuracy in line with agreed performance KPIs.
• Warehouse team engagement and performance (i.e., productivity, errors, overtime, safety culture, leave management and number of lost time due to injuries).

Motivate the team to ensure efficient, effective, and excellent service to our customers

In order to succeed in this role, you will need strong communication and leadership skills and ability to problem solve.

The other essentials we are looking for:

•  A Certificate III qualification in Warehousing Operations or similar is an advantage.
• Licensed and proficient forklift operator.
• Ideally, you will have a First Aid qualification, however, this is not essential.
• Must be collaborative in nature yet have tenacity and drive, many decisions will be made in a team environment.
• Is highly motivated, self-directed and has good time management skills.
• An ability to lead people and organise work with minimal supervision.
• Has a positive "can do" attitude.
• Strong attention-to-detail and the ability to maintain accurate and complete records with good problem-solving skills.
• A passion for customer satisfaction and strong interpersonal skills.
