Warehouse Team Member - Assistant

The position:

This newly created role is a for a Warehouse Team Member – Assistant, responsible for dispatching, picking, packing and storing goods for transport of mining equipment and supplies to our tier one clients. 

Duties for the role are:

• Getting orders ready for dispatch. 
• Ensure all information is accurate, stored, and accessible.
• Ad hoc duties associated with supporting aftermarket and Warehouse Teams.
• To maintain a high level of coordination between internal staff, customers, and clients.
• Being a point of contact for all incoming goods from internal and external customers.
• Packaging, labelling, picking, boxing items.
• Receiving and storing orders.
• Operating equipment.
• Paperwork and admin tasks.

Skills and experience:

• Good sound knowledge of SAP is desirable.
• Forklift License essential. 
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Well-developed computer skills including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
