As a key member reporting to the Warehouse Manager and/or DC Team Leader, the DC Team Member (3PL) plays a crucial role in our day-to-day distribution center operations, focusing on tasks such as picking, loading, unloading, and inventory management while prioritizing safety, service, efficiency, and team collaboration.
As a key member reporting to the Warehouse Manager and/or DC Team Leader, the DC Team Member (3PL) plays a crucial role in our day-to-day distribution center operations, focusing on tasks such as picking, loading, unloading, and inventory management while prioritizing safety, service, efficiency, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities include:
- Efficiently moving inventory to specified storage locations following company guidelines.
- Accurately picking orders according to company standards.
- Performing inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Assisting in various tasks as needed, including but not limited to cleaning, receiving, processing returns, dispatching, and administrative duties.
- Working collaboratively to enhance and refine operational procedures for better safety and productivity.
- Fostering strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
- Encouraging a culture of teamwork to meet collective objectives.
- Driving continuous improvement in operational processes for peak efficiency.
- Upholding cleanliness and organization within the distribution center.
- Promptly reporting any safety concerns, incidents, or near misses to the DC Manager.
- Safely handling products, adhering to safety and handling guidelines.
- Following all workplace health and safety policies and ensuring compliance with safe work practices.
- Implementing training and protocols to reduce risks and incidents.
- Processing incoming stock in accordance with company protocols.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
- Possession of an LF or LO license.
- Experience with handling large or bulky items is a plus, but not mandatory.
- A strong commitment to safety and proficient in safe manual handling techniques.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- A team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
- A proactive, positive attitude.
