HunterNet Career Connections, in partnership with our host company are seeking a Warehousing Trainee to join the team in Thornton. This is an exciting opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking for a career change to complete the Certificate III Supply Chain Operations over 24 months whilst working full-time.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving stock and dispatching goods
- Processing sales orders
- Pick and pack orders
- Inventory control and stocktaking inventory
- Safe operation a forklift and overhead crane operation
- Update of ERP (enterprise resource planning) system
- Data entry
- Liase with couriers and on occasion perform deliveries themselves
- Always follow and apply safe working procedures and practices including the completion of safety documentation
What we’re looking for:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
- Must be physically fit as this role includes unloading vehicles and packing orders
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Ability to work independently
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Commitment to the full term of the traineeship and study requirements
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
