  • $65,998 pa + super

We are looking for a Supervisor to join our dedicated team at the Wangaratta Organic Processing Facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our organics facility, promoting sustainability, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead by example to ensure operational excellence, even during challenging situations.
  • Take proactive measures to maintain the purity and quality of organic materials.
  • Operate and oversee the maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and adhere to composting standards, ensuring compliance with EPA regulations.
  • Monitor materials, maintain accurate records, and report on activities as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to our team, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our clients and contractors, building strong relationships.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in waste management and Organics operations, or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of EPA requirements and best practices in composting operations.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy earthmoving equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork.
  • Basic computer skills and a valid heavy rigid driver's license.
