What you will be working on
- Provide a quality Waste Collection service to all residential, commercial, street and litter bins at various locations throughout the City.
- Transport and deposit of waste at the Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility or any other nominated waste disposal facility as deemed necessary by the Manager Waste Services.
What are we looking for
- Experience in safe operation and user maintenance of Waste Collection Vehicles
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of waste transfer operations
- Knowledge of landfill and waste transfer station operations
- Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets
- Knowledge of health & environmental requirements would be preferred
- Sound time management skills
- Possession of Current C Class Drivers Licence, current HR class driver’s licence.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
