The Operational Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Waste Person to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
This position will be responsible for providing a waste support service for Mackay Hospital and Health Service. This position will also be required to work with and provide support and advice to Team Leader, Supervisors and/or Manager of Operational Services.
About the Team
Operational Services provides and co-ordinates a diverse range of services that support the clinical divisions in the delivery of patient centred health care at Mackay Base Hospital. The department consists of the following keys areas:
- Cleaning Services;
- Wardsperson Services;
- Waste Management;
- Grounds and Gardens; and
- Patient Equipment Loan Store (PELS).
