Alex Fraser is Australia's largest manufacturer of recycled construction materials and an innovative asphalt production and paving company. Alex Fraser Group has an opportunity for an experienced and committed Water Cart operator to join our team based at our Clarinda Recycling Facility. This is a full-time role, which will see you working a 5.5-day week. You will also be inspecting truck loads coming into the facility. Your rostered hours are 6:00am to 4:00/4:30pm Monday-Friday, 6:00am to 12 midday Saturday.
In your new role with us, you will:
- Carry out day to day operation of the Water Cart
- Inspection of incoming materials
- Rejection of any contaminated loads
- Directing trucks to safe tipping areas
- Communicate via UHF radio with Excavator/Loader operators about truck movements
- Perform general labour activities
