Water Leakage Technician

Much of this work will require extended periods away from home.

What We Are Looking For

• Professional attitude, appearance and conduct to align with our client's expectations
• Comprehensive knowledge of water networks and their daily operation
• Demonstrated experience in using acoustic technologies to find leaks in water networks
• An understanding of leak detection and water loss management strategies
• Experience in working for small, fast-moving companies and contributing to their success
• Motivated, engaged and willing to solve problems collaboratively with team members and customers
• Experience with intelligent water IoT devices is desirable, or a willingness to learn
• Experience in exceeding client's expectations relating to contract performance and delivering to an impeccable standard
• The willingness and flexibility to travel frequently to complete project work (this role will require extended periods away from home – accommodation and Per Diem provided).

What You Will Do

• Undertake acoustic leak detection survey works focusing on results and efficiency (this requires walking up to 15km per day)
• Install and maintain intelligent IoT devices on water and wastewater pipelines as required
• Deliver water loss reduction and NRW projects across the region
• Provide reports on network defects to our customers, including using customer works management and GIS platforms (from Field Tablets)
• Responsible for HSEQ implementation and compliance during field works; including use of field compliance software
• Project support and customer liaison, with a focus on adhering to high levels of client satisfaction
