Water / Sewerage Operator (Chinchilla/Miles)
About the Opportunity
Council is seeking Water Sewerage Operators to join their team and assist the Utilities Supervisor in the coordination of Council’s water, sewerage services in all communities throughout the area of Miles.
Reporting to the Utilities Supervisor, you will be:
- Assisting in the day to day operation and maintenance of Water Treatment Plants including pump stations, bores, reservoirs, environmental and process monitoring and associated infrastructure;
- Assisting in the day to day operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and associated infrastructure; and
- Assisting in the day to day monitoring, operation and maintenance of ultra-filtration recycled water treatment.
About yourself
The successful applicant will have:
- A Certificate III in Water Operations (or ability to obtain within two (2) years of commencement);
- Current P1, P2 or C Class (minimum) Drivers Licence; and
- WHS Construction White Card.
