One of Australia’s prominent Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced Web Support Developer to join a large scale modernisation project that is vital to organisations current goals. The Web Support Developer will be the dedicated resource for the “Incremental Decommissioning Website Project”, with experience in working on digital platforms and will be responsible for decommissioning of allocated web pages. The successful Web Support Developer will be offered an initial contract until 30 June 2024 along with 2 x 6 month extension options partnered with a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Web Support Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Running and writing tests
Taking responsibility of Level 3 and Level 4 support requests
Making necessary changes to the existing Web Pages based on the Support Request in a timely manner
Actioning service and incident request from Support Management Queue for this project
The successful Web Support Developer will have experience in the following:
Demonstratable ability in HTML, CSS, PHP v5.3 and above, JavaScript, jQuery and ReactJS
Proficiency in Common Software Design Patterns and skills in Linux/Unix
Understanding and working experience of Agile
Experience using Cloud based infrastructure, platform and application services
