Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs to connect various systems and tools that enhance our service offerings.
- Manage projects involving the migration of client data across different platforms, focusing on efficiency and minimal disruption.
- Utilise Python to create server-side logic, optimise backend processes, and integrate user-facing elements.
- Maintain high standards in managing data flow and security across cloud-based technologies.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Demonstrated backend development expertise, particularly with Python and its frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in building and optimising APIs using RESTful practices and tools like Flask or Django.
- In-depth understanding of software development principles and design patterns, particularly under time pressure.
- Experience with SQL and database management using PostgreSQL, and familiarity with Python's Pandas library.
- Proficient with collaborative tools such as Git, Jira, and other project management and version control systems.
