Metric, a full-service marketing and creative agency, is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team. We are passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients through branding, design, strategic marketing, digital solutions, advertising, and communications.
We are looking for someone who is kind, proactive, and possesses the ability to think strategically when it comes to all things digital, developing and maintaining websites. As a Website Developer and digital expert, you will collaborate with our team and clients to drive, develop and execute best practice websites and digital campaigns (pending capabilities) for major brands and businesses across Australia.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain Wordpress websites for clients, ensuring high functionality, user experience, and responsiveness across various devices.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement website layouts, features, and graphics that align with clients' branding and marketing objectives.
- Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimise speed, security, and SEO ranking.
- Manage WordPress plug-in and theme updates, ensuring compatibility and functionality while adhering to best practices for website security and performance.
- Work closely with the team and/or clients to understand their business goals and develop digital strategies to support their marketing campaigns.
- If capabilities align - coordinate digital campaigns across multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, and online advertising, to drive traffic and conversions to clients' websites.
- Track and analyse website metrics and campaign performance using analytics tools to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and digital marketing to continually enhance skills and capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in website development (+ digital campaign management if applicable) within a marketing agency or similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with team and clients
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide easy-to-digest insights
