Quamby Estate offers country luxury homestyle accommodation in a lovingly restored colonial heritage manor. The Role

We are looking for a permanent part-time Wedding & Sales Coordinator with previous hospitality experience in small boutique high-end environments. You are someone who loves what you do, has a can-do attitude, and makes service seamless. Upholding our team values and ensuring that all our guests have an incredible experience.  

Where no day is the same, this role allows you to connect with your guests, build on your own hospitality experience and help wedding couples make happy memories. 

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Undertake all administrative duties relating to weddings and events, including collating and reporting on feedback.
  • Conduct tailored site inspections as required on Quamby Estate.
  • Manage the financial billing and invoicing for weddings and events on the estate. 
  • Manage and organise the setup of the venue and associated linen, event equipment and requirements for weddings and events in line with client expectation and for seamless event delivery.
  • Be the contact on the ground for events; provide operational support to the client and the Quamby Estate team for event delivery where required.
  • Ensure all Estate WH&S policies and operating procedures are adhered to.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and other tourism organisations, particularly in the wedding and event market and booking / tour operators.
  • Drive and create business growth opportunities to exceed budgeted targets and capture approved growth opportunities.
  • Assist the Operations Manager to develop a yearly revenue budget for Board and Owner approval.
  • Work closely with the Property Team Leaders / Managers to advise, monitor, and manage room rates including effective management of the relationship with the OTAs and Wholesalers to maximise revenue while not exceeding budgeted commission levels.
  • Schedule and manager social media content and promotions in conjunction with Operations Manager

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about guest service and delivery and willing to go above and beyond.
  • Experienced in food & beverage and event/wedding delivery.
  • A positive, creative, and proactive person with a can-do attitude.
  • Computer literate, preferably with experience in hotel operation systems
  • Good knowledge of food and wine knowledge 
  • Room Master and Lightspeed Knowledge (preferred but not essential.)
  • Social Media content and advertising campaign experience.
