W Sydney is now casting for Welcome Manager to lead our Whatever/Whenever, Welcome, Wheels and Guest Services Operations Team. Reporting to the Director of Rooms this integral role provides a high level of service to guests experience and presents an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the world’s largest W Hotel, with 588 rooms, suites and studios.

Overall, the Welcome Manager should be able to balance the needs of their team, their guests, and the business itself, while maintaining a focus on excellence and continuous improvement. This requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep local understanding of the guest journey.
POSTION SUMMARY
Responsible for managing and supervising Whatever/Whenever, Welcome, Wheels and Guest Services Operations Team. Drives W’s Whatever Whenever culture, Bonvoy Loyalty Program, VIP guests, groups in house, training and development of talent and supports operations at the Welcome Desk. Experience with Opera PMS.
As an integral part of the Rooms team, directs and works with all areas of the Hotel’s Talent and department heads. Strives to continually improve guest and talent satisfaction and maximize the guest satisfaction of the department. Will work a rotating fortnightly roster.
TALENT PROFILE
Education & Experience Required
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in Hotel Operations or related professional area OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major; 2 years experience in Hotel Operations or related professional area.
