Fieldwicks Crushing and Screening are Tasmania's leader in mobile crushing and screening operations. We pride ourselves on supplying a reliable, quality quarrying service to our clients.
We require an additional experienced Welder /Boilermaker to join our workshop team for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of mobile Crushers, Screeners, Excavators, Loaders and light vehicles. The position involves the completion of all required service and repair works, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
The position will be based from our Devonport Workshop, and is primarily field work based.
To be successful, you need to possess or have the ability to apply the following key skills, attributes and capabilities.
- Completed Certificate II or III in Welding ( or similar )
- or completed your Boilermaker trade certificate
- Ideally have had at least 5 years experience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant and equipment
- Be able to work unsupervised in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform tasks to a high level of quality in a timely manner
- Be self motivated , hard working and trustworthy
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Willing to abide by Fieldwicks policies, procedures and safety requirements
