The Role
As a Welder/Fabricator you will be designing and fabricating custom made products to meet our client's needs. Your attention to detail, ability to read and draw plans and strong safety acumen, will ensure that all technical and manual works are completed in a safe and effective manner within the framework of our detailed safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
Key Duties include (but not limited to):
Fabricating custom made products
On-site welding repairs
Drawing and reading plans including site visits to measure up
Ordering and receiving supplies
Organising galvanizing of products
Your Skills and Experience
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker/Welding)
Excellent skills in MIG and TIG welding experience (minimum 5 years)
Ability to read, interpret and work to engineering workshop drawings
High level marking out skills and the ability to fabricate and assemble structural steel products
Must be able to pass for Macro testing including NDT (required certification)
Current Driver's license
Ability to weld on-site (desirable)
Forklift License (desirable)
Construction Induction (White Card)
Confined Space Entry certification (desirable)

Hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm

Remuneration (pay) will reflect experience which will be discussed at interview stage and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will apply.
