Welder/Roller Spotter - Kalamia Mill

About the Role
We are currently seeking applications for a permanent Welder (Rollerspotter) to join our Production Team initially located at Kalamia Mill, Ayr. Great entry level job that can lead to great career opportunities.
Responsibilities

• Perform routine gas metal arc welding, metal cutting and general welding on rollers
• Use and maintain an automated welding machine as required by the team
• Assisting in the maintenance of plant, equipment and factory facilities, include working in confined spaces
• Display a consistent commitment to a high standard of housekeeping
• Work safely and be aware of the safety of others

The Successful Applicant

• Formal Welding competencies - minimum MEM05012C & MEM05050B
• Willing to learn and good focus on safety
• Qualified Mechanical Tradesperson - Desirable

The following qualifications are required in some of our trade roles, however, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude and team fit:
