Schmidt Quarries is a family operated business established in 1974. We deliver quality quarry materials such as road bases, rock, aggregates and sand. Our head office is located in Queanbeyan, NSW with our quarries located throughout the region.
The Role
We are looking for experienced Wheel Loader and Excavator Operators to join our team, working largely at our Nerriga site.
These are full time positions.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and an understanding of relevant WHS requirements.
The Candidate
The candidate would be someone who:-
- Has a strong work ethic
- Likes working with heavy machinery
- Has an interest in keeping the machines in top working order
- Has a common sense approach to work
- Is able to work within WHS and safety guidelines
- Holds a current drivers licence
- Has good time management skills and attention to detail
- Can communicate well
