About the role - St Andrews is looking to fill a position of Workplace Health and Safety Officer. The successful applicant will support the commitment of St Andrews in ensuring safety in the school environment.
The successful applicant should have proven experience that demonstrates the following attributes:
- An ability to plan and manage time to complete required tasks, independently, whilst maintaining clear communication with relevant line manager
- Confidence using IT Systems and the Microsoft Office 365 package to manage tasks and document compliance
- Ability to multi-task, to assist in the day to day running of the school, and forward plan using the calendar
- Initiative and problem-solving skills to work successfully as part of a dynamic team with a degree of self-direction and motivation
About you - Desired qualities include:
- Qualifications and experience in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- ICT skills.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
